The eleventh member of the Old 3C Label Group is Fireside Union Recordings of Dayton, Ohio, directed by members of Stark Folk Band, whose early releases were on our flagship label, Old 3C Records. We’re happy to welcome them back with their own imprint as part of the mighty Old 3C Label Group.

Stark Folk Band members Brady Lee Burkett (acoustic guitar, vocals), Ryan Douglas Shaffer (electric guitar, backing vocals), Dave Jurcsisn (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Jeremy Malchow (drums, tambourine, backing vocals) let loose on this digital-only, two-song single, with assistance by some legendary Ohioan music-types such as Miles “Marvin the Robot” Curtiss (backing vocals), S-Douglas (organ), Mike “Rep” Hummel (backing vocals) and Jeff “Creeper Ohio” Robertson (backing vocals). A glorious psychedelic garage sound was the result, and their friend Jeff Robertson states that it “conjured the spirit of Sky Saxon directly into my living room.” We think you’ll agree with that assessment.
